8030-12 heater has a knock out hole on each side where the heater hose goes into. As far as the vents go these can be placed anywhere. To place Defrost Kit P/N MFA126 or P/N MFA127 the hose fits into the knock out hole of the heater. You can direct the heater hose anywhere with the vent at the other end.If you want to defrost the window,you would place the vent near the window.
